Australian born and raised photographer Quentin Bacon has ben based for the last 15 years New York, with a career of client’s spanning the genre’s of lifestyle, interiors, food and portrait photography.

Quentin’s style is unique in the Australian market as he combines his Australian sensibilities with his US sensibilities – and creates an effortless elegance with a commercially appealing lighting and styling approach.

In the world of food photography, this man sets the bar high… depicting beautiful, soulful cooking for the eye. His work in the U.S saw him strongly succeed in this industry, collaborating with Michelle Obama on her cookbook ‘American Grown’ as well as many international chefs and food writers such as Gordon Ramsay, Ina Garten, Masaharu Morimoto and Mario Batali.

Frequently retuning to Australia, Quentin regularly shoots and directs motion content alongside his stills briefs.

Attributing his endless inspiration to the ‘visual world and the hearts that make it beat’, Quentin finds peace in capturing life in stillness, and conjuring it’s inner life through the use of light.
