Photographer/Director Jem Cresswell's short film 'Eyre and Sea' has received global recognition, having been accepted into the Toronto, Paris, San Francisco and San Diego International Film Festivals. The piece is also a finalist in the aptly named Lonely Seal Film Festival. These are just the first few, with many others soon to be announced. We look forward to updating this post for months to come...
Jem shot this film on the edge of the Great Australian Bight, at Baird Bay, where, in a town with a population of three, lives Alan. A real character, Alan's life revolves around the monumental landscape and the colony of pinnipeds that call it home.
Inspired by Alan's life philosophy, Jem set out to shadow his daily routine. The end result? This breathtaking short film! We cannot wait to share this beautiful testament to an extraordinary life once the piece has completed the film festival circuit. Until then please treat yo'self to the film stills below.
