Jem Cresswell goes cruising with P&O

Photographer/Director Jem Cresswell has added another P&O campaign to his already strong cruise game. Jem shot this all-star NRL line up with our old friends Bashful & P&O off the back of the TVC from the amazing team at Airbag.

Jem's mad technical skills came into play when shooting the group composite shot. Competing schedules meant the stellar athletes had to be shot across seperate days and locations to create this epic key visual. Coinciding with the heaviest period of rain in Sydney in memory this challenging technical shoot became a little tougher with extreme variations in light between portraits. As always Jem delivered the oh so great goods, even managing to wrangle some bunnies in between takes.

Jem Cresswell Shares Eyre & Sea on Breakfast TV

Photographer/Director Jem Cresswell was invited on ABC, Channel 10 and Channel 7 Breakfast TV, to speak about his acclaimed film 'Eyre & Sea' that is touring nationally as part of the Ocean Film Festival World Tour 2022.

We are thrilled that Jem has been receiving lots of well deserved press attention for his beautiful short documentary on Alan and his sea lion family at Baird Bay, South Australia. The plight of the sea lions is one that deserves serious attention as their numbers are in drastic decline. Further research is needed to determine the cause, you can help facilitate this investigation via donation here.

Jem's book Giants was also showcased on the breakfast shows and resulted in over 500 orders. Numbered, signed special edition copies still available here.

Jem Cresswell’s short-film ‘Eyre & Sea’ a global hit

Photographer/Director Jem Cresswell's short film 'Eyre and Sea' has received global recognition, having been accepted into the Toronto, Paris, San Francisco and San Diego International Film Festivals. The piece is also a finalist in the aptly named Lonely Seal Film Festival. These are just the first few, with many others soon to be announced. We look forward to updating this post for months to come...

Jem shot this film on the edge of the Great Australian Bight, at Baird Bay, where, in a town with a population of three, lives Alan. A real character, Alan's life revolves around the monumental landscape and the colony of pinnipeds that call it home.

Inspired by Alan's life philosophy, Jem set out to shadow his daily routine. The end result? This breathtaking short film! We cannot wait to share this beautiful testament to an extraordinary life once the piece has completed the film festival circuit. Until then please treat yo'self to the film stills below.
